With its ChronoCoreâ„¢ technology promising to speed up data transmission by nearly 50% over conventional fiber, Relativity Networks has raised $22.0M in seed capital. The AI network architecture company aims to solve the growing challenge of synchronizing geographically separated AI factories, where power constraints often force compute across multiple campuses.
Relativity Networks' ChronoCoreâ„¢ replaces traditional glass cores with air, guiding light at approximately 3.4 microseconds per kilometer. This faster propagation more than doubles the viable territory for AI factory sites, extending the fabric across distances that current "scale up" and "scale out" methods can't reach. The seed round saw participation from Rhapsody Venture Partners, Bell Ventures Inc., and Faster Than Glass LLC.
